Jerry, Charlane and their staff are all ao amazing. They have treated my mom with respect and have given her the independence and mobility with physical therapy she has been needing for years. The Christmas "Home for the Holidays Buffet" was amazing. The chef made such great food and all the staff assisting were perfect.

The care/maintenance/dining staff are outstanding with my Parents! Just like family members like it should be! The facility is clean and decorated with class. Many friends have been made here! Thanks to the management team!

No pictures to share but still wanted to share our experience. From the first meeting until everything was over, the legacy house and its staff was very accommodating. Jerry especially. As things turn out, my mother passed away before we could actually get her moved in. Jerry continually stayed in contact and expressed his sincere condolences. It may have not worked out for us but I would recommend this facility to anyone needing help, a shoulder, a helping hand, you name it.

My 89 -year-old Mom has lived at Legacy House of Avondale for eight months, with many visits during that time from her adult children, both local and out-of-state. My brother, a retired fire fighter, discovered Legacy and brought Mom for tours twice before she made her decision. My brother has seen many senior care facilities, good and bad, during his career, so he knew what to look for. Scott and I (wife Michele) have stayed on-site at Legacy in the guest suite during visits, which helped us get an even better feel for the place. This move was hard for Mom, leaving friends and completely independent living behind, but it needed to happen for many reasons and as Mom often says "This is a good place." The staff know and greet the residents by name and are warm and welcoming. Jerry D., Rosemarie, Leslie at lobby reception, and Cheyenne who cleans and helps with Mom's laundry, all make the Personal Touch philosophy a reality in how they treat residents in this community. Mom has enjoyed the Happy Hour events with outside music organized by Lucy in the recreation department. So great to see caregivers singing and encouraging movement to the music with some of the residents, including those from memory care. The dining room food is very good (excellent chef!) and the staff waiting tables are patient and hard working. All are great and Tyesha stands out as especially helpful. Special events at Legacy (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Oktoberfest) are great parties, with music, superb decorations, and excellent food. Most impressive is the way the whole staff work together to provide a fun celebration for residents and their families. In searching options as a family, we thought it important for Mom to be someplace with graduated levels of care so that she would not need to move as her needs change over time. She has only used her emergency call button once in eight months, with fast response and assistance. I do not know how Legacy performs for residents with higher care needs, but so far, we think that Mom made a good choice. Michele and Scott

My mother in her 6th year of dementia needing more care then family could provide. Looked at a few other places and was very disappointed. Was given a refferal to Legacy House. Met with Jerry D. An amazing man, we spoke, toured the facility. It is beautiful..enough space for her. The staff is amazing. Jerry and Rosemarie have been so helpful no matter how many questions I've had. My heart is happy to have a safe place for her at Legacy House. Thank you!! My mom has been there a month. The staff is truly amazing. Special shout out to her caregivers...an amazing group of people. They are truly caring with her. My mother is non verbal but I can see she is happy and honestly speaking a bit more. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart Your kindness truly comforts me knowing my mom is in a great place.
