David and his crew were fantastic! We added a very large raised patio, a new lower patio and a waterfall. Everything was completed on time and budget. With all of the fill needed for our raised patio, we expected a little settling of the travertine. Several months later, we had some slight misalignment in the surface due to settling. We called David and it was corrected within a week. We couldn't be happier.

We met David at the Home and Landscape show in May of this year. We had just bought out new home with the typical all dirt backyard in AZ and were there to find someone to do it all, I had every intention of hiring one of the big name companies as I thought they would have better buying power and had fear of the stories you hear where people get taken for their money by some fly by night. As we were leaving we stopped and spoke with David who was there with his young son (one of the Js in J & J) We got the typical 3 quotes, two from the larger companies and one from J & J Landscaping. The quotes were all comparable for this larger job (artificial turf, pavers, pergolas, run drips, fire pit, custom barbecue and prep for sunken swim spa) small yard big impact. The two gentlemen from the larger companies were somewhat slow to respond and condescending in their demeanor. Not David, he was kind and genuinely interested in my business, he was agreeable when I had minor changes, and would always say I work for you and I want you to be happy our yard is complete now and it is nothing short of amazing, the quality of the work that Davids team does and the relationship that we forged with him was so unexpected. We are finishing up putting together our patio furniture and hanging some cafe lights but will soon be ready for the big reveal (pictures coming in the next couple of weeks!) Do not hesitate to hire J & J Landscaping and David Gandolfo,, you will not be disappointed! I cant say enough about what a great experience it was working with him and I am counting the days until I finish the last of the touches so we can upload pictures and you can see for yourself! David has been in business and working with his foreman for over twenty years so even when he isnt there himself you are in excellent hands.
