We spent 3 days on the river with Shane and his crew. They were outstanding! Cant say enough great things about them. Highest recommendation possible.

Shane at Bear Paw was likely the finest fishing guide my friends and I have ever met or used. The fishing was world class, we lost count. Shane was also patient and never complained when we would get snagged. He also taught my friends how to fly fish with great patience. Everything was exceptional! Our float was on 08/10/2023

We fished in early August for 2 days. They worked hard to get us on some trout, we caught a bunch, and really enjoyed our time with them. Trustworthy guide service.

Had a Fabulous day today on the float trip, we caught GREAT , and the trip was fantastic! Shane is a SUPER GREAT guy , fun and easy going. He KNOWS how to put you on some fish. I will definitely be back !

This was my first time to AK and I have fly fished the lower 48 for years with and without guides. This was my best fishing experience EVER with a guide. Shane is honest, works hard, knows the river and finds what is working. Other guides were floating past saying they were having a tough day and we landed 6 rainbow over 20 and several others in the 14-16 range and a few Grayling. The launch is directly behind his base and the trip was outstanding. Thanks Shane, I hope to fish with you again!
