Roy was our guide and treated us to a great week of phenomenal views and sightseeing. It was a personable and memorable experience that I get to keep for the rest of my life. Our fellow vacationers were also a lot of fun to have around and am glad to have met such great people along the way. Alaska is a beautiful state and using Alaskan Tour Guides will navigate you through great places to visit taking the headache of having to plan an itinerary out of your hands. Our 12 day tour was absolutely amazing! Our guide, CJ, was the perfect mix of professional, informative, and fun to be with. She was well-organized and went out of her way to accommodate everyone's needs. She had each day planned out for us and made sure she kept us all updated on our schedules. Having grown up in Alaska, she could relate many personal experiences that helped us understand Alaska's history and culture. CJ really made the trip an incredible experience for us!

We took the Grand Explorer tour and couldn't have been happier. ATG took care of all the details, saving us hours and hours of research and planning. We experienced things we would never have discovered on our own, like the Dream A Dream Sled Dog Tour, which was AWESOME! Our guide, CJ, was great -- very organized, easy going, and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed her stories about growing up in Alaska. We would highly recommend ATG to anyone considering a land tour.

My husband and I have told everybody that this trip was beyond our wildest expectations. Scott our travel guide so knowledgeable and accommodating to meet everyones requests. The comfort of the van and accommodations , the carefully crafted Itinerary so that we could see and do so much in 10 days, simply amazing. When your only complaint about a trip is the portion size of the meals are too large, nothing to critique about this tour. Scotty and the team Thank You

Beware of this tour company. They give you so little for the amount they charge, and their customer service is beyond poor. They asked for our flight itinerary, and were very careful to book us an additional night at full room rate at the start since we were coming in at 1 am, but we were charged full rate, ~$300.00 for room for the return day, yet on our return we were flying out that early evening and didn't need it. We asked for a refund because we weren't going to use the room and they refused, saying no refunds of any kind if it's 90 days or less, and in a rather surly way. So we had to bear the cost of the unused room, and the included breakfast, yet had to pay for an additional night at the beginning. They could've just switched the extra day if they were more careful, but we trusted them. Also, cheaping out, the extra day at the beginning, they didn't include breakfast, on purpose. Most of the lunches included on the tour are cold box lunches. Dinners never included desserts, and nothing Market price, and on top of that, the itinerary was really quite poor for the price. There was a full day that they included nothing on! The bus was extremely small with tiny seats, cramped conditions. Overall we were very disappointed, especially since we have been to Alaska twice before, and it was done far better. We wouldn't use this company again, nor recommend them.
