Im going to let this be known!!! back in June of 2023 famous foot wear had an employee who checked me out that day for a pair of mens flip flops and he reel me in with a %10 off my purchase and NEVER told me I was signing up for a credit card. Then when I was signing up it was asking for my social and my personal financial information is when I had relized what he had me sign up for was a credit card. I went back to pay off the amount and they didnt explain to me that they only charged me the minimum payment when I was going there to pay it fully off. then I had a late fee charged of $37.77 to my account every month since that first payment. Also to note iv had to go back into the store multiple times to pay. iv called them three times NOW to cancel it. And last time I called was January 2nd and told the customer care guy I wanted no more calls and emails from their community bank that I wanted to pay off my full balance and completely cancel my account and credit card. Again today I am still harassed by their customer service team to pay off late fees.Im just curious if Im the only person this has happened to. the guy explained to me today that for whatever reason he cant tell me why my payment didnt go through on the 2nd when I had more then enough funds in my account for the $37.77. Which the late fee is on the 16th so Im having to give out my information again and have the exact same phone call again that I did on the 2nd with one of their customers care employees.
