I got an estimate to have simple steroid knee injections done after the surgery didnt relieve my pain. I paid in full for the injections before I went back to be injected and then left without issue. Months later I got a call that I owed more money because the Doctor spent 5 more minutes with me than they quoted me for. I explained that I had paid in full and they said it was an estimate and they can change the price any time without letting me know before. Medical is the only place that can change the price at any time they want without any warning and if you dont pay, theyll send you to collections. I know Dr Maltano is a good doctor, I just cant believe he lets his office be run on guesses and surprise charges.

Doctor Montano gave me a partial knee replacement a couple of years ago.I hike a lot. Three times a week it is at the Butte, steep with steps etc. This morning it was -19. I have not had one bit of pain. I am amazed at how well he performed the operation. Can't thank him enough for his work. He has been active in our community, has a great attitude and I strongly recommend him. The whole staff is great. Dr. Haggerty operated on my right shoulder twice. No issues there as well.,If you are active, and hurt, Pioneer Peak is the place to go.

Amazing office, my doctor was very helpful and wanted the best treatment for me, not just dragging out unnecessary appointments and therapy for money. 100% will always go here

Dr. Montano is one of a kind. I was in a terrible car accident last August that left me with an overwhelming number of injuries. At the time of the accident, I was in my final 2 years of finishing my doctorate program. I have been working with Dr. M for over a year now. Hes performed 2 knee surgeries and a shoulder surgery. Despite all my injuries I have managed to continue through my program. Hes been an invaluable support for me along the road to recovery. I dont know if I would have made it through without Dr. Ms surgical skills, compassion, and kindness.

My daughter has been having issues for years with her feet. We had heard about Dr. Shaha through the sports world and he came highly recommended. Upon entering the office, the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable. We were pulled back on time, and seen in an efficient manner each step along the way. We had extremely positive encounters with the MA, X-ray tech, and admin team on both the way in and out. Dr. Shaha spent a significant amount of time explaining all findings, and set realistic long-term expectations. After years of seeing the bigger ortho offices in Anchorage and the valley.this entire experience was a breath of fresh air.
