My daughter enjoyed herself. Honestly the seat cushion is a bit soft and thin. 45 minutes sitting on that hard board had my butt and back feeling not so good. Also the engine shut off a couple of times so apparently they have a mechanical issue hopefully they get that sorted soon. But it was also opening day for the season so I guess they've probably got something to work out there. I would generally recommend it for kids though. My daughter thought it was really cool.

Located on 1300 Island Street in Wasilla near the senior citizens home, Alaska Live Steamers is a fun family oriented place geared towards the young at heart no matter the age. Friendly staff and neat trains, this is a wonderful place to go on a sunny weekend while getting the feel of a train without having to go far. I highly recommend this place.

Great fun for the whole family!
The ride is about 45 minutes long with a brief stop halfway to stretch your legs and maybe take a picture or two. Really nice and enjoyable. All the volunteers do a great job and kudos to them all.
