I had to leave my snowmachine way up in the mtns due to a sudden no start situation. All I had to do to get it back was give the guys at Heli Alaska the coordinates and meet them in the parking lot we originally launched from. They picked the sled off the mtn and swung it right into the back of my truck.

Absolutely brilliant trip, highly recommended. Got the see the Knik Glacier, traveled up from Anchorage, and flew from Wasilla. Really friendly staff and I'm now obsessed with helicopters.

Super grateful for the guys with Heli alaska. The whole process was a smooth transition to make sure recovering my Sled was a weight lifted off my shoulder. Everything was coordinated beautifully, communication was on point and their timing was spectacular. Justin and Dusty coordinated and communicated with me to make sure I had everything that was needed to airlift my snowmobile out of the backcountry where it was unrecoverable by land. They had every last little detail from start to finish to ensure the success of removing my sled. When we first saw that chopper coming over the mountain, it was less than a minute and 30 seconds to lift. Robs immaculate piloting skills, slow rolled in with that hook, super smooth float in to hook up straps, and watch that sled ease off the snow. The overwhelming joy and satisfaction that I felt watching my sled going over the mountain heading to the Seward airport was beyond words. so I thank them again for all the tremendous help they offered.

Cindi Herman Yesterday we had a very exciting day. It started out rather dreadful and ended up very joyful. About 12 oclock in the afternoon Boy Dog came home. Soaking wet & Just covered in Ice Cubes & Ice sickles and I knew if he could talk he'd tell me WE really messed up mom - Well since the two of them are very seldom far from each other within about 10 minutes I knew something was terribly wrong there was no Little Gurl I knew if Boy could talk he would tell me where she was or what had happened - he was super stressed. I went looking and calling and didnt have any luck. I kept wishing I had a drone I remembered a couple of our neighbors having them, my one neighbor of which I knew couldnt get here yet and the other one I knew he had been working hard grooming trails, I called him anyways; have to say thank you to Calvin and Kelsey Flannigan As soon as I called them, they came down with their drone. they made it in record time from Onestone Lake to Skwentna riding double on a super wide - I think Calvin should run Iron Dog. Calvin put his drone up and they found her of course on the other side of the river and since the river still flowing pretty good on the Skwentna. We were between a rock and a hard place. Kelsey stayed across from where they found her and kept her calm for over an hour! I called Rob at Heli Alaska, and I barely got the words out of my mouth and he said Im on my way to the hanger. Ill be there as soon as I can and true to his word he was here... So between the big drone (Alaska Heli's R44)and the little drone (Calviins Drone) we got our little drowned rat home, I cant say thank you enough to these folks and Im sure if our little girl could talk. She would say thank you too. I know she would lick them to death special thanks to Calvin, Kelsey, Rob of Heli Alaska and Heidi for helping me bring my Lucky little Gurl Home! Merry Christmas
