Great location close to town. Amazing breakfast every day. Rooms comfortable and clean. Beautiful grounds with a short walk to the lake. Lawn chairs are available at the dock to set and enjoy the peaceful lake. Easy, no fuss check-in. The owner is attentive to any needs you may have. We would definitely stay here again. Nearby activities: Iditarod headquarters and museum nearby.

This was my first B&B experience and it was so great. We stayed for several nights which seemed to be unusual - every day's breakfast group was made up of different people. The food was delicious and plentiful, piping hot from the kitchen and served with endless and very good coffee. The rooms and common space are comfortable and cozy, and the grounds and lake view are gorgeous. We had a standard room with a private bathroom which was worth the extra money for us, though if you're only staying a night it might not be a big deal. The room is not huge, but if you're up here you're likely not planning on hanging out in your bedroom all day. Carol and her daughter are great hosts and cooks, and if we ever get the chance to we will definitely be coming back!
