        Our Alaskan family has rented storage space, for our boat, from Irv Carlisle at Maxi Storage for the last 11 years. This season, however, we were told they had an increased demand due to Covid, and that our space had been rented out. In our opinion, Irv chose money over an 11 year old relationship with our Alaskan family, to make a few more dollars from non-residents looking to store their out of State toys. Needless to say, this was unexpected and upsetting. Consider this a cautionary tale if you're a current renter or if you are looking for storage.
