I have had the great pleasure of going to Talon Lodge for the last 10 years! Why do I keep going back? To start with, the hospitality of Phil, Gwen and the entire staff is like visiting family. And the list goes on.... fabulous food, comfortable accommodations, great wine, and there is, of course, the fishing!! But the true value of Talon Lodge is its warm, welcoming owners and staff. We always look forward to our next visit.

What an amazing all inclusive lodge to experience fishing in Alaska with your family! Everyone was professional and accommodating to our families needs. The cabins were clean, spacious, and quiet! The food and service was top notch. I really enjoyed the winemaker series they had when we were there.our captain, Gavin was spectacular. He was extremely helpful, patient, and very experienced! Definitely a vacation our family will remember forever.

We have visited Talon Lodge multiple times and each time we return we look forward to seeing "family"! We receive the most intentional service of the highest quality - the entire team is amazing! The beauty is unrivaled, the accommodations are first class, the memories made while fishing will be treasured for life! We love being part of Phil and Gwen's dream and will continue to visit for as long as possible.

Where to start at Talon Lodge?! Emaculate grounds, warm and inviting lodge, outstanding culinary experiences and a hospitality team that is unmatched! To be honest, the staff is a reason in itself to visit here! Incredible from the meeting at the dock to the departure from the lodge. Friendly, excited, attentivethey make you feel like youve stayed there 100 times before. From the dining service, to the deckhands and boat captains, all were amazing! I even had the pleasure of speaking with the culinary team who were renowned chefs, true to their craft, delivering a one of a kind 4 course dining experience night after night. Unbelievable! Not to mention creative breakfast offerings to start your day and a chef prepared lunch with homemade soup on the boat. But behind this whole experience are two incredible hosts, Phil and Gwen, who know the true meaning of hospitality. There family and staff live for your enjoyment and it shows every step of the way. PS. The fishing is outstanding too!

My family and I have been coming to Talon Lodge for eight years to relax and enjoy the beauty of Alaska. Year after year we have come to enjoy this luxury lodge and the amazing staff. Phil and Gwen and the entire staff truly care about you and your experience and will go the extra mile to make your experience memorable. There is no place like it where you can relax, socialize, put your feet up, have a beverage of your choice, and enjoy the majestic Alaska scenery. It is the only Alaskan lodge that has succulent culinary creations by gourmet chefs, hosts James Beard chefs, serves award winning wines by leading vintners, luxurious accommodations, open air massage pavilion, an award-winning bar/lodge that looks out into the Alaska wilderness, and a fishing fleet with dedicated and experienced Talon Lodge captains and deck hands. You will not find these lodge amenities and services at any other fishing lodge in Alaska. Thank you again, Phil and Gwen and the entire Talon Lodge staff for making our family a part of yours. Our fishing experiences have been outstanding, dining experiences extraordinary; and evening dinners full of fun, laughter, and sharing fishing highlights.
