        Found this salve on a trip to Alaska. I was using it for bug bites and it worked very well to stop itching and burning. Only later did I realize it had taken the inflammation and swelling down incredibly in my trigger finger. So much so my doctor said I could go without surgery. It works great on sunburn in a way aloe vera never did.

        I discovered these natural salves while visiting Sitka on a cruise in 2005. The Soothing Rub was amazing. I put a little on a pain I had and the pain went away so fast I didnt believe it. I had several people try it including my sister who had some sort of pain. The pain was eased so fast we couldnt believe it. I think we bought out all of the product she had on the shelf. I shared it with my family and friends. Its also great for bug bites that itch. Soothes almost instantly. My daughter is a pianist and loves it for achy muscles and tired fingers. I also use the healing balm for abrasions and dry feet. I keep it on the shelf. Thank you Back Bay Botanicals from Sitka!

        My daughter found their Devils Club Healing Salve in a touristy shop on the Kenai Peninsula and fell in love with it. She suggested I try it for my frequent aches and pains and WOW am I impressed. My husband appreciates the light mild scent, compared to other topical treatments. It blows me away how quickly and completely it stops even my most severe muscular and arthritis pain. I don't think I'll have to take NSAIDs at all anymore, and at my age, that's a huge benefit.

        I love the herbal healing salve. I've had the same generous sized container for several years now, and it still looks feels and smells as fresh as the day I bought it. I use it for everyday scrapes and cuts, or for extra dry patches, and I recently learned that the devil's club ingredient makes it good for arthritis and improving circulation, which I will start using it for.
