The guides were very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. We loved the wooden staircase and limestone chambers inside. Thank you for keeping these tours free and open for walk-ins.

A lovely tour by our guide, the walk up is steep so take your time. Worth the effort!

Wonderful spot to visit. We didn't arrange a tour ahead of time so all we could explore was the first 200 ft of the cave but it's a fascinating spot. The walk up the hill is gorgeous thru a wonderful old growth forest. The wooden stairs are an engineering marvel. The cave is really cool. Literally. It's about 40 degrees inside. Knowing about all the animals who have sheltered there over the eons and that humans have been visiting for a few thousand years lended to reflection.

The pictures of new decking and inner-cave exploration were taken during 1992-1995 cave expeditions sponsored by the USFS. Definitely a wonderful few summers spent with intrepid cave explorers from around the world. (carlsonimagery.com)
