Alaska's Fish Tales Lodge

The experience of a lifetime! We went in a group of 7 with 2 pre-teen kids and we had a blast the whole time. We caught lots of fish every day in late June...Halibut, Ling Cod, Black Rock Bass, Salmon, and many species we had to let go. Dave, the lodge manager and captain, had some well placed pots that ensured we had our fill of crab legs and giant prawns as well! We were a little nervous about figuring out the ferry transfer and navigating from the airport, but again, Dave had a great system to ensure we found him ready to shuttle us to the property. This is the place to go in Whale Pass for sure! We can't wait to go back!

You won't find a host that works harder to make your adventure the best it can be. David works tirelessly to ensure your time spent in that wild and wonderful place is comfortable and exciting. The new boat, 26' Hewes Craft is comfortable and great to fish out of. Oh, and did I mention he's a great cook. Just go, you'll love it.

There is no better place in the world to stay or visit. The Cook family is amazing, the location is incredible, the lodging and care exceptional, the fishing is out of this world, and the nature equally spectacular. Can I go back tomorrow??
