We did a Homer Halibut / Rockfish Combo Trip back in June 2023 with JR and deck hand Ross. They took us way out with 9 ft swells to the Barren Islands, unfortunately, only one person caught a 30lb Halibut out there. Ive never gotten sea sick in my life and even took Dramamine twice yet I still threw up twice and felt miserable the entire time. We went back in closer and everyone was able to catch rockfish, small halibut, and cod. At the very end of the trip they had everyone take photos with their fish. The deck hand took the photos and said he would send them to everyone. A few days after our trip, I reached out to Jimmie Jacks and asked for the photos since I never received any. The woman reached out to Ross and he said he wasnt seeing any photos on his phone from the day of our trip.. I was extremely disappointed that we have no pictures with our halibut from this day, a once in a lifetime trip for us. Especially after paying what we paid, very disappointing.

Very good place the fishing guides are very helpful, kind and very experienced
Lodge is comfortable, clean. They serve breakfast and lunch with very delicious food. The manager Miriam is very kind and helpful too, she helped with anything we needed. She is an amazing person.
Definitely we will come again.

A great experience at Jimmy Jack's Original Lodge. All the employees from Miriam and Charisma at the lodge to the guides Big Brian, Motes, Chris, Captain JP and the deckhand Nate were exceptional. Excellent customer service and all very personable and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay here again.

Have fished with Jiimmie Jacks a couple times out of Seward and it was great. The boat is nice and the guides work hard to get your limit! Will be going again in the future for sure!
