The owner, the hostess with the mostest, the chef, the guides...were like family. Great place, great food, great fishing, great value. Can't wait to get back there soon.

Good food and great guides. Guides were very committed to you having a successful outing. Noteworthy details: Would have given it a 5 star if not for having a problem getting help from the main person in dealing with a frustrating issue.

Now I know why fishing in Alaska is on the bucket list of so many. And, Tower Rock Lodge delivered an exceptional and unforgettable experience. As a female that has never fished before I was a bit apprehensive to enter the Alaskan fishing scene. The guides at TRL - Brant, Willie, Joe, and Bubba never made me feel less than competent. They were patient and attentive with all of their guests. Their goal was to ensure that we had an enjoyable experience. Their appreciation and love for the Alaskan wilderness shows. We met other wonderful guests from all over the world, dined on amazing dishes (thank you Chef Gabe and Maude!), and slept sound and cozy in the main lodge. This isn't a shanty shack on the river type operation! It's what I call refined rustic. The grounds are maintained well. The main lodge where we stayed is beautifully constructed and decorated. Features 3 bedrooms, one with an attached bath, and a living/dining/kitchen area on the top floor. This would be a great family or guys/girls trip set up. The remaining grounds feature freestanding cabins and a dining hall. There is a firepit, direct access to the river, maybe a 2 minute walk. Excursions are listed on the monitor in the dining hall the night before so you know exactly what to expect and what to wear/bring. There are Orvis waders and boots to fit all shapes and sizes. Yes, they're clean! They make you a hot breakfast burrito and pack a sandwich, a ton of snacks and drinks for the day. They are happy to accommodate dietary needs. They clean and fillet your fish, drop them off at the processor each day, and you can either pick the packed fish up on your way to the airport or have them ship it home to you. We felt catered to in every way possible. It was really about us being able to just fish and relax and enjoy our time there. And, let's not forget about Griff. The travel planner extraordinaire! Thank you so much for all of the communication and helpful tips, as well as planning our excursions. You all made a lasting impression on us. We will definitely be back! Rooms: Main lodge is great for groups/families. Food & drinks: Exceptional food. Prepared and plated with love.

My second year coming. Loved it last year and was even better this year. Fishing was great and the whole staff were outstanding with their interest in taking great care of us. No question, 100% focused on making their customers experience the very best. Went beyond Rooms: Great and comfortable rooms and great service everyday making the rooms look like they did when we first arrived. Nearby activities: Very close to two towns for whatever we needed to do and get. Safety: Everyday we had a very dedicated and knowledgeable guide to help and they watched out for us throughout our day. Walkability: Perfect for eating, social events and walking to the river to fish. All the gear for fishing was easy to get and was included to use. Food & drinks: Food was great and service was outstanding. Wonderful people. Went out of the way making sure my picky eating habits worked for me. Made sure everyone got fed, no matter what time it was. Noteworthy details: Perfect trip. 100% satisfied customer. Would not change a thing. Very happy the whole time.
