        Went whale watching with Capt. Harry while on cruise to Juneau. We had an excellent time! Super informative. He had us picked up by taxi at cruise ship port and taken to a small marina. Went out with him and his captain, Tanya, who drove the boat. Boat was in tip-top shape, stable and clean. Viewing areas fore and aft. He offered sodas, water and snacks. Weather was crummy, of course. Managed to find whales and also saw sea lions, eagles. Capt Harry was very knowledgeable and really gave us a fantastic tour. As an aside, I generally avoid booking tours thru cruise ship and find much better value researching and booking on my own. And by "value" I mean money well spent, not necessarily cheaper. I hate cattle-boats or bus tours and also like a personal touch, as well as getting a chance to meet some folks who live and work in an area rather than just the seasonal help. Weather Permitting delivered EXCELLENT value! Highly recommend!
