Renda may be a good concierge, but as a venue manager she does very poor at fully communicating in a timely fashion. Un-answered emails, verbal promises later taken away, and a lack of personal accountability. Sadly, this has resulted in the cancelation of my daughter's wedding at this venue just one week before her wedding. We will salvage it ourselves, but I am beyond livid at the the lack of communication from the venue that led to this. Totally preventable. She promised my daughter she could bring in soup and bread without purchasing a catering package, but changed that on us when we decided to add a catering package and after delayed communication from her AGAIN were blindsided with $70 a plate for salad and appetizers. We let her know we couldn't afford the catering package and she was patronizing and fake apologetic. She would not give any alternative options to get us within budget. Once our relationship had eroded to unrepareble she finally said we could get a different licenced caterer, but both her and I were done with eachother. She kept trying to blame my daughter for not communicating timely, but I had repeatedly been told by my daughter that she was "still waiting on Renda" for most of the details, which was my shared experience. Absolutely stunning venue. Always got good service as a guest or vendor. This was a bizarre experience.
Renda replied to my review with a total misrepresentation of the facts. The dishonesty and lack of accountability is alarming.

I recently went here to have my wedding & reception & it was perfect within the ambience, food and overall the great amount of assistance and service provided by Renda. She made everything come together beautifully, despite the long distance & time difference. She recommended amazing people for the cake, photography & flower arrangements.
The location and place itself is truly a diamond within Juneau. With Rendas spectacular services and Chef Amara, who made every dish just so delicious and honestly one of the best I have had.
All in all this place made my special day, one of the greatest memories. Thank you

Our family stayed in two separate suites at the Jorgenson House for two nights. They were beautifully kept and Renda, the host was lovely and double checked all our travel details to be sure she was taking care of everything. The breakfast was beyond spectacular and the cook even made breakfast to go bags for us due to our early flight. I highly recommend!!!
