        Safety: Community friendly, on one walks around with guns on their side. No police enforced. People police their actions. Walkability: Alot of things are in walking distance Gustavus Beach, The fairy dock. The fireweed. Library, post office. Community chest. Community center.

        We are the boondocking type, so the new restroom/shower/laundry facilities and wifi is truly a glamping experience. We were excited to find a RV park in Gustavus, enabling us to drive our RV onto the ferry and having the freedom to explore Gustavus and Glacier Bay National Park. The owners are further beautifying the place.
