What a beautiful place! Our cozy log cabin was super clean and well equipped with a full kitchen. Its only a couple miles from the footbridge to McCarthy great location. Matthew and Torey were very friendly, professional and made sure we always had whatever we needed. Thank you Currant Ridge!

You will not be disappointed!! The Shidner family welcomes you in to McCarthy and the adventure begins. They give great recommendations for fun day activities, then you get to come home to a cozy, quiet, beautiful cabin. With incredible views of the valley, beautiful landscaping, a fully equipped kitchen, a wonderful bathroom (with great counterspace - yes!!) and an outstanding deck. Oh did I mention the grill and chair set up on the deck? Currant Ridge is where adventure and comfort meet. Have fun!

Incredible stay! Alaska is already stunning, and staying here is as close to the wild expansive wilderness as you can get. The rooms and amenities are cozy, and well kept. Perfect for a couple get away, or the whole family. Coming back!

Currant Rridge was the most amazing experience to date. I enjoyed hula hoops and fun yard activities provided to us. If you're brave enough to travel with young ones, they will not go bored. The glacier hike and trails in Kennecott are a must. Best part of all, the large bathtub, luxury. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, a solo soul searching holiday, or a retreat for the whole family; Currant Ridge has got you covered.
