Dog sledding was on my bucket list when visiting Alaska for the first time! This experience did not disappoint! We had so much fun! Thank you to Travis and the Musher. Both guys were phenomenal! Made our experience just 10x better. Love that we got a chance to hang out and pet the huskies! All so lovable and sweet.

Dog sledding is an essential part of the history and development of extremely cold Alaska. In today's technologically advanced world, there are various means of winter transportation other than dog sleds, but in the past they have been used as a means of transportation for a long time. In recent years, they can be seen on tourist tours and dog sled races, and the dog sledding experience at Chena Hot Springs Resort is a very popular activity. Many dogs live with their trainers at the dog yard, and you can tour some of them. It was also a highly satisfying tour, as there was a lecture on the history of dog sledding and time to interact with the dogs being trained there.
