        Another disappointment that this business will not hang a small poster advertising an upcoming UAF musical event, sponsored by the Dept. of Music, staring UAF students. As much money as this business makes on their product, enough to recently expand, you think they could be a little or a lot more supportive of our community's university & its young talented students!

        I hesitated to write this because I dont want this to deter anyone from trying sipping streams, its a great local business. I just happened to have a somewhat negative experience, and Im only writing this because I noticed the owners seem to check reviews frequently and its an issue that can be easily be fixed. Im a vegetarian, and while Im not like out of commission or anything if I eat meat, it does hurt my stomach and its not fun. With that being said, I ordered the veggie bun and ended up getting the chicken bun instead. It took me a couple of bites to realize that it was chicken, and when I brought it up to the front they quickly apologized and asked me if I wanted the bun I ordered. I told them yes, and they brought it out. It wasnt very good, it was pretty plain and disappointing. The two bites I had of the chicken bun was good though! Im not writing because I think the workers suck and did this intentionally; I know it was an accident. Theyre all young and honestly had great customer service when I first came in, but as a business that serves food its important that peoples dietary needs arent overlooked. Like I said, Im not on my deathbed. I just went home with a stomachache. But, it could be a much bigger issue for those with more extreme food allergies. So please just make sure people are getting what they ordered and also maybe put a little more flavor into the vegetarian/vegan options

We were approached by an individual inquiring about a bulletin board for community posts, which we unfortunately do not have. The conversation ended abruptly, and we didn’t get the chance to discuss the flyer and what it was about, or other ways we might support the UAF musical event. We are proud to be part of this community and are always looking for ways to support local talent and initiatives.
