Joel went out of his way to get answers I needed, search for just the perfect place. He works well with out of state (and in state) buyers and sellers. Its refreshing to work with someone who anticipates your questions and has answers when asked. I always knew he was working as a buyers agent and never got the feeling he was trying to sway me toward more expensive houses or things I had no interest in. I definitely recommend!!!

Mary was extremely patient as my wife and I decided if we wanted to purchase of not. She offered her expertise, showing us appropriate properties until we decided on the one we wanted. She then worked diligently to get us a fair price, making sure we understood every step of the process. Her personal service and professionalism made the process go very smoothly.

Update: Updating my review because Joel just helped me sell the same place he helped me buy all those years ago. He went absolutely above and beyond to help me get this deal done. I had already moved out of state by the time I was able to get the house on the market and Joel really saved my bacon when it came to coordinating everything. I could not have done it without him. Having used them for both buying and selling, I highly recommend Joel and Empire Realty if you need a realtor for either side of the deal. Original review: Joel was awesome to work with. Quick to respond, honest, and helpful in answering so many questions. This was the first house I've purchased and Joel helped to make it an easier process. Thanks!

So far, it's a good place to rent from. I'm sure they would be great to buy from, too. Would recommend.
