I applied for a job here and was accepted on the spot, was told that I would be an excellent candidate on multiple different occasions. I worked a 9 hour shift without being given the time to eat until after I got off. There was zero communication or training until a pear took the time to show me the different things she does during her spare time on the clock. Every time I took the time to sit I was given an immediate negative glare despite everyone else sitting at that time. I had to take the bus to work the following day and did more than I was asked to do when I felt was needed (they gave me zero training or opportunity to do more unless I asked) and after that second shift was told my hours were taken away and that they did not need me working anymore due to overstaffing. Not only do they overprice every item they sell they choose to hire people when they arent making any money. I needed the job and was grateful they hired me but as quickly as I got that job they fired me. I wasted 18 hours standing and peering without a lunch or proper training. They claimed they pay $150 a day? I probably wont even see the paycheck for my time there as apparently they also dont mail paychecks.

I bought a xbox1 for $153 a week ago found out that i did not like it so I brought it back to try and get a ps4 and that told me that they can only give me $30 for everything and would not even consider a trade for a ps4

Long time Fairbanks resident, in the early days they were as good as any pawnshop lately they have been consistently priced above retail and when you ask them they cant mark it down. If Im spending the spouse brownie points to walk into a pawn shop I hate to waist them on more pricy than retail.

Best all around customer service and pricing. I've been buying tools and guns for years from JJ with 0 complaints! I highly recommend!
