        Absolutely stunning new location with such a pleasant atmosphere inside. The new store seems to have many more options and products, but all of the favorites from the old store too. So happy to have Roaming Root in the middle of town now, it's super convenient. I'm so happy there is a place like this in town for local people to sell their art and goods.

      Hi Carol and Tracy, thanks so much for stopping by the store! I'm glad you found it cute :) Our items are pricier. Everything is handmade by local Alaskan families, and it's expensive to live here. It's even more expensive to fly in the components (stones for jewelry, clay for pottery, packaging for food, etc) of what they make. It's a tough reality of our state, but supporting them is our primary mission. I don't say this to belittle your feedback or experience in any way, but hope I can provide some context!
