We did a mushing tour as a family with two young kids in December, and it was wonderful. The hosts organized it that both our kids (18 months and 5 years) as well as three adults had a lot of fun. The hosts went out of their way to keep us warm with extra clothes, tea and chocolates. We really had a great time and I absolutely recommend mushing with 'Miles to go Alaska'.

Highly recommend!!! The whole ride is about 2 to 2.5 hours, you can enjoy the great ride and beautiful view! If you want to feel the control, you can give the command ; if you only want to take photos and enjoy, you can just lie down there and take photos! My ride has 7 dogs with me, all very nice, friendly and energetic. At beginning and in mid, you have chances to take photos with dogs. After the ride you can feed the dogs. For me and my friends, it is really a fantastic experience. Definitely do not miss this if you like dog! It is 30 minutes drive from downtown Fairbanks, also very close to an aurora viewing location.

Best experience ever! Helene and Ben are nice people. Their dogs are energetic and friendly. Every dog has a personality and it was fun to watch them during the ride. Helene treated her dogs like family members and checked upon them from time to time. We got to know about how to do dog sledding in the proper way and protect the pack at the same time. It was fantastic to command the pack to move forward and you can feel the adrenalin rush as well! Highly recommend! I would definitely want to go back if I have the chance!
