If there was a zero star option I would have given it to them. Stay away from this tour company if you have any food allergies or disability. We booked travel with them months ago and let them know up front about the food allergies and my recent surgery. Planned the whole Alaska trip around this tour. They canceled on us the day before the tour because they did not want to provide us food for our daughter who has food allergies and husband who is gluten free. They refuse to pick up the phone to give us an explanation of why they were canceling. All they said is that we are difficult and their company is not going to turn them self upside down to accommodate us. We even told them
that please dont cancel we will bring our own food, but they said that we have been rude, would not give me an example of what we said that was rude. They kept on calling us difficult. The only difficult thing about our family is the allergies my daughter has. I explained to them that it was my daughters birthday gift to see the bears, they did not care. So be aware if they dont like the TONE of your text they will cancel last minute and through your whole trip off.
Bill inrepo de, you gave us 24 hours to book another travel. All the bear viewing tRips book up months in Advance. You said $30 we were asking for clarification of how much it was going to be $30 in total or person. It was not a demand. You would not even pick up the phone to clear a miscommunication. You just determined that with my daughter food allergies and my limitations in movement you would rather take another customer. We have been in Alaska for 10 days with multiple different tour guides and have no issue. Do you honestly think for people that were about to spend $4000 on your tour a $120 credit would have broke our bank. I wish you had picked up our calls to state your MISUNDERSTANDING of us rather then doing it over a review. You do not provide frost class service and you do not stand behi d your customer as it is evident from the other person who also gave you a one star.

Bill and crew were friendly and knowledgeable. Took us to off the beaten path route en flight to first location. Gorgeous! Marine layer/haze created not enough bear viewing but can't put that all on them. Plus they were accommodating. Recommend

Alaska Air Service went above and beyond our expectations!!! Our experience was one that we will never forget! Our pilot Bill made us feel comfortable and safe while providing the most spectacular views of the Alaskan back country! Thank you Alaskan Air Service and Bill for this once in a lifetime experience!

Not going to name names but contacted this charter company and spoke with older gentleman. Was not happy with his professionalism and lack of communication skills.
Attitude seemed as if he didnt care to help or was not motivated by any means. Told me I was trying to debate him when all I was trying to do was make sense of how everything worked since i am new at all this flight schedule etc.
He also stated straight out I needed a helicopter which was NOT true, and made it seem as if I was asking to be dropped off on Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa. Then he proceeded to tell me that he is not meaning to burst my bubble and in conclusion told me to buy my own airplane. I then stated if that was the case then why are there cabins already built around area I was interested in going and how did the people access that area, and he grew silent knowing that I would have won the debate after all.
Claims he has 30 yrs of experience but acted like he didnt know how to plan a trip to the grocery store on a rainy day.
In conclusion very unprofessional and not willing to take the slightest interest in helping. There are many services willing to help you especially for planning your first trip and this definitely is not one of them!
