I have seen Dr. Elkin for two different procedures. He is kind and caring and makes sure you are comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend Dr. Elkin for pain management and any procedure you need.
I saw Dr. Elkin again for another procedure and just like before, hes very professional and an outright really nice guy. His entire staff knows exactly what theyre doing and make you comfortable the entire time. I will continue to have my procedures at Dr. Elkin and will soon make him my regular doctor.

An absolute joke to the medical profession, these dr do not communicate with each other or treat another dr patient with dignity and respect if your regular dr is out on vacation, making me spend $2k to fly home just so they make u take a ua to get your meds... this group of dr needs to go back to medical school ethics and remember why they are supposed to be a dr, unfortunately it's all about the money, the only physician in this office that is worth seeing is Greg Wilkinson, this is directed at the wasikka office...

I recently had an outstanding experience at AA Spine and Pain Clinic, and I want to share my positive feedback. When I made my appointment over the phone with Alysa, I was impressed by her dedication. She went above and beyond, searching for cancellations and promptly calling me back the same afternoon with an earlier slot. While I understand that not everyone may be able to get scheduled as quickly, I'm immensely grateful for her exceptional efforts to accommodate my needs. I was seen much sooner than the initially scheduled two-week wait.
Candace was efficient in gathering all the necessary details, ensuring a smooth transfer of knowledge when the doctor arrived. Katie, the practice manager, deserves recognition. Katie's kind bedside manner instilled confidence they could alleviate my pain. Her proactive approach was evident when she worked directly with the VA to expedite my procedure.
Overall, I am stunned Anchorage has this level of service, and seamless coordination among the staff. Thank you to specifically these three for making my experience so positive. Highly recommended!

If you have an auto immune disease that gives you open wounds, dr Elkin will refuse to treat you with anything more than Gabipenton and Tylenol. He said he will only give you opoids if you have a disease that will make you have less than 6 months to live. He continually told me my other pain doctors who retired must have disillusioned me because he knew before he even seen me that I was an addict. Its what I fear happening and take my meds only as prescribed. He made no exit plans for the opoids Im on now because he just flat out refused to even listen or answer my questions saying we were going in circles and again accused me of being an addict by saying if I want my morphine pills I should go back to the docs I had before. He wouldn't even listen to me about my previous treatment plans or how morphine made able to do selfcare and get out of bed. He pretty much made it clear he had made up his mind about me before opening the door and wanted to record or session while he told me my previous doctors wasted my time by recommending his clinic. I hope his boss or board listen to that recording because I am filing a complaint no doc should make a patient feel or making them leave when you tell them you feel suicidal. I cant believe how condescending he was to me because he had to rub in my face I was ignorant (and addict)and had bad previous pain docs. Isnt his job as a pain doc to help addicts? I guess not. He refuses care with emphasis.
