Sourdough Transfer

This company will ask you to sign a waiver excusing them for any damage or lost items. I signed it because, hey - theyre professionals and were only moving a few minutes away. What could go wrong? Their movers erroneously left a piece of furniture and a box with high-end electronics worth thousands of dollars at a donation site. By the time we discovered their mistake, the items were gone. When I brought this to Sourdoughs attention and asked them to consider doing the right thing, even though the waiver would let them walk they offered me, and this is not a joke or exaggeration, $7. If you care about any items in your household at all, consider any other moving service.

Helped us coordinate a complicated move from Boston which required contracting another company. They were very responsive and helpful throughout the process, gave us a better price than other places we looked at and the movers in Anchorage were excellent. Would definitely hire them again.

This is the best place to weigh your vehicle on a CAT scale if you're shipping your vehicle. Because they only charge about $20 to both weigh it empty and loaded. Other places charge around $30 for each weigh.
