Major scammers for money. I do not even know who these people are. But all of a sudden it is on my credit report from cornerstone collections they turned it over to a different creditor without me ever being aware of what this is let alone what it's about. I owe nothing to cornerstone. And yet cornerstone denied my dispute and more than likely will take me to court. I never signed a contract nor agreed to pay. So I'm confused as to what this company and cornerstone is up too. I have insurance and I was never informed that I owed.

I've also had billing trouble. They don't have their insurance contracts strait and have threatened to send my bill to a collection agency. I've had to have my insurance call them to get things figured out.

Just received my FIRST statement from them stating my account is past due and if no payment received within 10 days they will send the balance to collections. Statement is dated 9/3/20 and was received 9/11/20...this is such BS. And of course since they bill out of state by the time I get home and get the letter it’s after hours for them. I will be putting a payment in the mail but so help me if they try to send me to collections for this.

These people set a new standard of low, even for the medical industry. Sadly, we have no choice whether to use them—it’s something the doctor mandates. While they will allow for a payment plan, they neglect to tell you that you must call in very month to pay it--which is highly unusual, but okay--I can do that if you TELL ME when we set up the payment plan. Regardless, I get a call a couple of months later with snarky threats to ruin my credit—WHOA! I’ve never missed a payment on anything in my life—what happened? They continue to threaten, they won’t work with me, blab la bla—fine. So I paid them. Shocked at my apparent failure to manage my bills, I looked at the subsequent statement I received later that day. The statements don't even show what payments have been processed or how long it's been since a payment has been received, and whether it’s been deducted from the original balance. There was no indication that a payment was late, let alone delinquent. After further scrutinizing this statement, I noticed that it was received on the 30th—but was due the 28th. What's the point of even sending them? People who've just had surgery have an overwhelming number of bills to manage, but most of them at least show payments received and when, and what the current balance is, and when the payment is due--and allow for payments to be automatically deducted each month (it's in EVERYONE's best interest, isn't it?). Even the billing manager defends this practice. “Why didn’t YOU notice the payment hadn’t been DEDUCTED? HMMMM? It’s YOUR fault it wasn’t paid.” Jeez Louise, hire some adults, please. The next day I find that my credit card has been charged twice. Our country’s medical industry is corrupt through and through, but this establishment is the epitome of slime. I suggested that they one day be eaten by the monster they feed. They didn’t like that much. Of course, who would? When you are doing something predatory, it’s hard to admit it to yourself. But I guess that’s why we have online reviews.
