I jave been to this clinic twice for polycystic kidney disease (PKD), a genetic autoimmune disease. (I am Stage 3.) First time in 2017 I saw a nurse practitioner who seemed to know what she was doing. The second time was a few months ago via video conferencing during the coronavirus shutdown. Dr Barnes knows what he is doing and seems to care about his patients. These 2 people are why this clinic gets 2 stars. The admin staff, however, is completely incompetent. They do not return calls, do not send paperwork when required, and fail to follow up when the doctor orders something. Additionally, Google says "open until 4pm" but they close well before that. As such, I have asked the Veterans Administration to connect me with a different kidney specialist NOT affiliated with the Providence Hospital network.

Life saving. After being tossed around to a dozen or so different doctors across 3 states, I finally got diagnosis and treatment through this clinic. Highly recommend Dr. Barnes, especially if you have a RARE disorder... He knew exactly what was wrong with me. The front desk and medical assistants have been lovely as well.
