        I HAD AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE HERE!!! I met JaNice, MO, and Nioa they were all so welcoming and made me feel super comfortable. I most definitely recommend them for your sexual health needs.

        After years of trusting Planned Parenthood clinics in various states, and having great experiences, this office by far let me down. The provider seemed knowledgeable but after her telling me that women over 40 need an annual Pap smear done every 5 years-basically discouraging me from doing what I knew was right and having my annual done. After talking to a REAL doctor, its actually every 3 years. 5 years between tests could easily cost someone their LIFE. She did have me perform the self swab for the 3 major STIs prevalent in this area, to which I never received the results for. I logged into the patient portal, which did not show the results, nor that the test had even been performed. I requested a response through the portal, which Id be surprised if I got an answer back since it looks like the test was never ordered. Where did my sample go is my question? I Will NEVER go back as its obvious they dont give a hoot about the publics safety or my health. Extremely DISAPPOINTED with this office.

      Hi Andrew, and thank you for your feedback. We work with outside laboratory partners for a portion of our STD testing and because of this, the time it takes to receive results can vary. Unfortunately, this is out of our control, but we do strive to let patients know when they can expect their results. We appreciate your comments as they help us improve our care!

      Hi Boo, we are so sorry about the confusion with Pap testing guidelines. The exact age at which to begin cervical cancer screening and the preferred method to use is not completely clear, and recommendations from expert groups vary according to a patient's unique history. A history of a previous abnormal pap result or other concern may also be a factor. Most health care providers begin screening at age 21 with Pap testing every three years. Some providers begin screening at age 25 with HPV-only testing every five years.After age 30, experts recommend continuing with regular screening through age 65. This can be done with:●HPV-only testing every five years ●Co-testing (both Pap and HPV testing) every five years ●A Pap test every three yearsWith so many different options based on the tests available, this can be confusing.
