Terrible and Horrible, As Always.
First of all, i had to wait for an hour to talk to the customer service every single time. I have a poor connection with wiring in the ACS box outside of the house and the internet keeps disconnected. Their customer service keeps saying there is no problem as they see in their system. So i figured out exactly what the problem is myself and asked them to come over and re-do the wiring in the ACS box and i was told it's not their responsibility. If i had a choice, i would definitely go with GCI.

My landline went down several days ago. They are refusing to issue a repair ticket because I do not remember my passcode. The only other viable option is to call the phone that no longer has service.
Seriously ACS, think about this for a second. If I am calling from town saying my phone wont work at my house, how are you going to call my house?
Nobody in the history of the universe has hacked into somebodies account to submit a repair ticket for a FREE repair.
What is the purpose of your policy? To keep me safe from someone stealing my landline? Pretty sure the handset from 1990 isnt the top 100 things in my house they will take. What will they do with it? Run a mile long phone cord to their secret crime lair?
Heaven help you if you try to explain to the workers that you dont have cell service at your house. (If I had cell service, why would I need a landline????)
You can pull your hair out trying to explain that you are not on site.
If you dont remember the magic passcode you are treated like a thief.
Stop treating repair tickets like state secrets. My dog sitter, house sitter, the darn delivery man, or even Amway rep should be able to contact ACS and tell you a phone line is down.
