First responders arrived quickly to an alarmed call from my out of state mother when my blood sugar dropped into the 30s while sleeping. They came in, helped get my blood sugar high enough to function, and all the while kept my animals calm, fixed my door, were kind, and offered to check fire alarms while here. I am continuously thankful and suprised by the friendliness of these men that face life and death situations for our community.

My elderly mother fell and couldn't walk afterwards, she injured her knee badly. I called for help getting her to the hospital yesterday. They came out, moved her to a bigger area to assess her, one guy walks in after we get her moved, takes one look at her and says "it doesn't look like any broken bones or fractures so it's up to you if you want us to take you to the hospital" she's not in her right mind so she said I'll stay home. She was in so much pain i called non emergency number back to complain. We decided they need to come back out and take her in. They come back out and take her in to er. SHE HAD A BROKEN KNEE CAP!!!! Broke it straight in half! Great job guy with x-ray vision that told her nothing is broken. Thanks for letting her suffer longer than she should have. I'm so angry right now about this. They even had her sign a waiver of liability to cover their *****. You guys knew she should've gone in. Don't be prejudice against natives, she doesn't drink alcohol but i feel like the one guy that assessed her treated her like she was another drunk native. I only gave 3 stars because they did come back and take her a couple hours later after my complaint.
