Walmart Vision & Glasses

I went to Dimond Mall Wal-Mart Seward Hwy in Anchorage. I paid for my eye exam for contact lenses, Dr. Julie Reinke on 7/22/2023. I'm still waiting on my trail lenses to come in. I was told trail lenses will take one week. Once received, I will need to make an appointment for trail fitting. If everything checks out, my prescription will be placed. Made sense to me and appreciated the fitting before placing my order . It's been nearly 3 months now. I have called multiple times only to be told that they are not in, we will call you when we get them. The excuse, the hold up, a manufactory issue, sorry for the delay. On two different occasions, I walked in to check on the status. This last time, upon my request, provided a copy of my prescription. My birth date was wrong. Today's I hand delivered this copy to a different opt and told the Rx was for eye glasses. If I wanted lenses, I would need an eye exam and they couldn't use what I already paid for. This places me in a position of held hostage in my opinion, as there are no customer choice other than to continue to wait, by being forced into it. I decided I been more than accommodating and I've had enough. Today, I called Wal-Mart asking for a refund. The lady on the phone stated sure, and after taking down my name, starting fumbling as though she couldn't located my name in their system and asked if she could call be back. I said No, I've waited long enough. The call was ended. I would not ever recommend despite the convenience of the store near by and with quick scheduling. Now I'm going have to make yet another call. I wanted lenses for the summer months, and yesterday, we gotten our first snow fall. Unbelievable. Another call and was told my refund relies from Wal-Mart to manufactory via email. They lady on the phone kept over speaking me which creates her own unprofessionalism be unreliable.

Had an excellent experience at the Walmart Vision Center. I walked in asking for my glasses to be repaired, after sitting on them. Matthew was professional, kind, efficient and knowledgeable. And there was no charge!

Dont waste your time very slow service never got my prescription send on time very unprofessional!

I changed their hours to match the posted exam hours sign because I went in at 6 a couple times and they had already closed. If they are going to change the hours back they better be open until the posted time. Wasting everyone's time, effort, and money. Say you don't respect your customers without saying you don't respect your customers.
