Went with Alexander Homes based on prior reviews and all the nice looking homes they built previously. They have a nice website and pics for sure. Even with all that, Id recommend to save yourself a headache and go with another builder. Built a home 2020-2021 and still awaiting warranty work no response yet and thats how it was throughout the build. During the build, and after delay after delay, they expected us to rush to close on their schedule, even with work that remained to be completed. Yeah, Id go with another builder or GC a build yourself. Thankful we built in the Anchorage area where we have building codes and building inspectors; otherwise it could have been worse. My wife and I purchased our new home built by Alexander Homes in 2015. It was very energy efficient with no major issues. We knew it was a solid built home after the November 30th 7.1 quake that hit the area. Many homes in Eagle River sustained a lot of damage. Our home did not have any major issues and or damage. I would recommend Alexander Homes to anyone looking for a sold built home that can take the harshness of Alaska.
