Parkside Guest House

Our stay at the beautiful Arts and Craft Parkside Guest House was outstanding! Our room was spacious, clean, and wonderfully decorated. We also had access to a large common living area right across the hall. Carley, our host, was very accomodating, making sure we were well-fed and comfortable, even doing laundry for us while we were on a tour! Breakfast was a treat with all of her homemade options. She even packed us a lunch for our tour! We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast for your stay in Anchorage!

An incredibly wonderful place to stay. Beautiful house - super clean & spacious with a fabulous location that is within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shopping + great place to run or workout in the park. But Carley, the hostess, turns this house into a home and makes this place so special. She spoiled us with delicious breakfasts (including baking me gluten-free muffins from scratch - and the best breakfast on-the-go when we had an early morning departure), as well as laundry and great conversation. Parkside Guest House is a true gem!

A beautiful, spacious home decorated in an art deco style featuring Alaskan photography. Carley takes such care of you and the space in addition to preparing a wonderful breakfast spread.

Had a fantastic weekend in USA and was very impressed with the hotel and staff. They were always on hand to help you out. Breakfast was delicious too.

We're already planning our return visit to this beautiful guest house. The home has been meticulously finished in the Arts & Crafts style, and no detail has been overlooked. Despite the polished design that is apparent everywhere, the home is extra comfortable and welcoming. We stayed here for a few nights after a camping trip and it was a relief to be able to settle in, do some laundry, browse the library shelves, linger over breakfast, and laze around by the fireplace. The hospitality is perfectly friendly, without being overbearing or intrusive. This property would be especially perfect for a larger party who wishes to take all three bedrooms, because then you could occupy the entire house and even arrange for family dinners together in the comfortable dining room.
