Purchased items on auction, have tried for 2 days to get ahold of anyone so I can pick up

Pretty shady company.. bid on some of their auction items. They sent a blank invoice and then they never responded to any emails.. if you call, some old guy answers and he is basically just wastes your time and talks about the craziest things. He finally admits he cant help you and tells you to call his sons, but they never answer or respond.. if you thinking of using them to auction your items I would think twice, if you are thinking about bidding on their items dont expect to receive them.. Wished I would have red these reviews before I wasted my time bidding on their items

Absolute trash. Nobody is ever at the office during business hours, they don't answer the phone, the voicemail is full and if you do catch someone lurking about, they tell you to come back another time. The entire place is a tragedy that should be criminally investigated and wiped off the map. Total garbage.

Yesterday's (March 7, 2023) APD/MOA Evidence and Stolen/Recovered Goods auction.... I won an item. I got an invoice and email saying my card would be charged after 6pm. Next morning still no charge. So I show up about 1015. 1 dude already waiting. I knock on door, I drive around lot (8-9 obvious staff cars in lot). I honk for a couple minutes. About 1030 a beat up Honda sedan with "security" on the side and a light bar rolls in. Dude has an attitude, says he don't work there when he's messing with the lock. I say fine, go to get back in my car and he wants my name. I say if I get a charge, I'm disputing it with the bank and I leave. I've let the web host (HiBid) know about the issues as well as APD, my assembly members since it was a city property auction and the BBB, and I find they are NOT BBB accredited. This is the third auction they've had I've bid at and won and item in the last 10 years, and was the worst service (they got worse each time). I will not be doing business with Grubstake ever again. I buy auction items via Hibid from all over the US and Canada and this local outfit is the worst to deal with.
