THIS GUY STILL PRACTICES LAW!!! Not Good! I was looking for a family law attorney & came across Sutherland in the Anchorage Bar Association. Jody is a crook! Stay away! I used him years ago for family law, paid him a whole retainer & he only did a few hours work & THE DAY OF MY COURT TRIAL HE DIDNT SHOW UP, I CALLED HIM & HE SAID HE WAS IN THE CARIBBEAN ON VACATION AFTER HE TOLD ME HE WAS GOING TO BE AT Court w/me. His excuse was he used all my funds w/o telling me. He got paid a whole retainer & didnt do any work(just a little). JODY SUTHERLAND IS A BAD LAWYER & A BAD GUY! STAY AWAY!!

Would absolutly recommend using Mr Sutherland for anyone looking to have someone represent them in the courts in Anchorage. Mr Sutherland was very Kind, generous and responsive. He genuinly cares about his clients success and makes every effort to make sure the outcomes are positive. I am so happy i found him as i never delt with a court system and did not know what to expect. Call him and you will not regret doing so
