Midnight Sun Animal Hospital and Emergency Services

Midnight Sun staff were incredibly supportive and kind throughout the exam, diagnostic, and unfortunate and humane euthanizing of my cat. They went above and beyond to offer me support and they treated my pet with nothing but the utmost kindness throughout the entire process. The staff were understanding and went out of their way to ensure everyone involved was okay. So much gratitude for Dr Cordova, Samantha, and Joel for checking on us numerous times throughout this transition.

All the ladies there were so helpful. Had an emergency flight and needed a health certificate last minute. They were able to get me in same day and answered all the questions I had about flying, with this being my first time flying with my cats. Was an overall great experience.

Don't tell people you can come in now if you're going to make them an hour and a half. It's highly unprofessional. I get emergencies get prioritized, but if you say you can see someone you should be able to do that in a timely manner.

Love this place, I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!! Best veterinarian team and most knowledgeable in the state!

I had to take a few of my exotics to MSAH during their overnight hours on a weekend a while back, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr. Cordova and Dr. Trevino are some of the most compassionate, caring, and intelligent individuals that I had the pleasure of meeting and I am thankful that they were able to take a look at my critters. They and the technicians, while excited to see patients of the reptilian variety, worked their butts off to figure out how they could help my little guys and what all was wrong with them. One needed an abscess lanced, a neuter, necrotic tissue removed, and various antibiotics while the other was septic, emaciated, and needed a whole load of treatment. (Before you ask, I work with a rescue and these animals were surrendered to us in this shape). When the topic of euthanasia came up for the one that wasn't doing so well, the docs were beyond caring and kind, as were the technicians. The receptionists I worked with were kind as well (Go Nikia and Susie!). I have had my fair share of negative interactions with others, but this review is focused on the one visit. Thank you Dr. Cordova, Dr. Trevino, Lena, Harley, Angelica x2, and the rest of the staff at Midnight Sun for doing your absolute best to see the patients that need it and for helping the community. To my fellow reviewers- yes, the system of the on-call wait list is a pain in the butt, but MSAH is doing it's best to get everyone in. Remember that they are an emergency clinic first and will see your kids with UTI's and ear infections as quick as they can, but they're beyond short staffed (and emergency centric). Also, emergencies are EXPENSIVE. Reach out to local rescues or start an emergency fund for your kiddos just in case, because the bills will be a slap in the face. Right now, they have like, 3 doctors...for an emergency clinic that everyone complains about not being 24 hours. There's a massive shortage in the veterinary field in general right now, so please give them some credit and patience! Pictures of one of their patients, before and after, for tax:)
