I called on Friday afternoon due to not wanting to drain out of the washer. My husband checked the piping downstairs and discovered that one joint had come completely unsealed and was also leaking into the basement. Jeremy said he would be here the next morning. Not only was he on time, he was actually a bit early. He immediately got to work. He thought initially the septic tank might need pumped, however, on further inspection, the pipe in the basement had come loose from what was holding it up properly and was now sitting at a downward angle. It wasn't allowing everything to pass through and thus there was a huge clog. Jeremy soon had everything cleaned out, that section of pipe replaced and resealed, and mounted back to the wall properly. I originally reached out to diagnose an issue because I was having flooding problems. He let me know that they would need to add a clean out in order to better diagnose the problem, after finding the problem he assured me its not a huge issue and itll be an easy fix. I let him know my home is still under warranty and if it becomes a bigger more expensive project to please let me know and that I would just use my home warranty instead. Thinking were at an understanding I leave to go to work for the day. I get a message at the end of the day saying everything was wrapped up, and at this point everything seems good, until I receive my invoice saying it was over $3,000 because there was more issues than originally thought. He says he bills based on time and material so it was a little surprising that the invoice didnt list the amount of hours or material used.
