Friendly congregation and leaders. They preach the gospel message. Update: after 6 months of attending Riverwood, I look forward to being a part of this church under the leadership of Jeff Pate. I thank God for leading me to this church.

I was a member here for over 10 years and made many lifelong friends. I came to a truer understanding and relationship with God in this church. I even got married in this church. So it breaks my heart to change my review; in the last few years the pastor took aggressive offense against one of the elders over a trivial matter and created an unnecessary division among the congregants. I can no longer in good faith support or recommend this church, as its current leader mistakes his prideful and manipulative legalism for "pious conviction". I pray mightily with many tears for this church's future return to its former peace, prosperity, and welcoming culture.

Best Bible based preaching and teaching! Blessed to have Rev. Jeff Pate and his family teach us and minister to us- a true blessing! Wonderful congregation, mixed ages from infant, children's, youth, college,to wonderful women's ministry and Pier group Bible study groups! Come join us!

Riverwood took my children, the 3 nephews, under their wings and loved on us when needed to that God children really cares. No every church have church folks we all have stay away from them kind in the church.
