Heritage Preschool of Trussville

Very kind people! You can tell the staff really cares for the kids. The teachers are engaged throughout the day. The front staff is amazing as well. When we first started, they were gracious in helping me quickly and affordably move my daughter from a bad situation at another daycare, and my daughter has been so happy here ever since! They also host class holiday parties, as well as fun activities for the older kids. You can definitely feel the love here!

We have been at Heritage preschool since our boys were 12 weeks old! The teachers that we have had care for our babies have been the absolute BEST! They have shown us kindness and been beyond patient with us as first time parents! To put it short, they are amazing! They really do love our boys like they are their own! The front desk staff is always so welcoming and informative! As a working mom, it is comforting to know that they are in such good hands from the moment we drop them off to the moment we pick them up! So happy that we chose Heritage from the start!

As a disclosure, our interaction was solely with the director, Michelle Cocker. We were previously on their waitlist and our son received an autism diagnosis while waiting and we had to pull him from the waitlist to get into a program that would accept him sooner after they were unable to get him in within the original time were were told based on a diagnosis recommendation. Our $250 deposit was forfeited based on wording in the enrollment form, but nothing we were told. She said, however, if we needed to use their services in the future to contact them. Our son is now improving and needs to get on an waitlist for next year for a preschool and this is the closest one. It has only been a few months since they removed us so my husband stopped by to talk to them about placing him back on the waiting list on his way home from dropping him off. Michelle was the individual he interacted with and she was abrupt and unkind to him while he had nothing to do with any previous conversation or interaction. Our situation with our son has been a journey full of frustration and difficulty but this is the only place that has ever acted in this manner - everyone else has been amazing and super helpful. For the director to show such an inability for kindness and compassion it is a real eye opening experience. I would not recommend, especially for those with disabilities where the situation may require adjustments out of the norm.

I have loved sending my girls to this preschool since they were both 1 years old! Everyone from the director to the teachers have been so kind and loving to my family. I recommend Heritage to anyone in the Trussville area!

Great curriculum that is still Christ centered. I feel my child has grown leaps and bounds since he started here last year. His previous daycare he stalled and the staff at Heritage really expanded their curriculum for him and he has adjusted well and is prepared for Kindergarten. Staff is always in contact with parents and never hide or beat around the bush with info you want to know
