        I have been incredibly disappointed by my experience with a member of the fire department here in Trussville. As a small business owner, it is important for me to have support from the community, including from our fire department. One member of the fire department used his power and connections with other authorities to exploit one of my employees. He berated and threatened my employee in his attempt to fulfill his job in the community. It is 2019; this should not be allowed or tolerated. Fire department members need to recognize they are representing a group of individuals in whom we are supposed to trust and need to act accordingly- those who abuse their power should be fired.
