I hired Knight Brothers (KB) Concrete to pour a patio and stamp it. I would not recommend this for anyone. The color is not close to what is was supposed to be because the amount "antique powder" was doubled and then left on it over night in the rain. Basically dyed the entire slab one color. Then once everything was done/dried to where it could be inspected, I was shocked. It has places where the stamps were so uneven that one may be a half inch higher or lower than the one next to it. The joints are not clean and many have chunks missing. After admitting there were issues, they have refused to try and fix it unless I pay for more concrete, rent the stamps, and purchase all the material needed for a second time. I did actually agreed to pay for more concrete and handle the new forms just to get the job done, but they wouldn't or couldn't take care of the stamps and dye. I could not believe he expected me to pay for the all material a second time to fix his mess. //Response to Owner's Reply// Kyle , I have the all the txt messages and I asked if you were going to try anything to fix the issues (cracks, bad joints, high/low spots), to include grinding and using "overlay" material. You responded that you were afraid that "it could look way worse by not being the same color". I asked about pouring a "cap" layer on top of the existing and even conceded to paying for the concrete and doing the forms, when you responded wanting me to pay for all supplies....that I had already paid for once. You offered a "partial refund on labor cost".....nothing about $1400. I just wanted it fixed...what I paid for, not taking advantage of anything.

Johnathan You said that my “mistakes” dyed the slab one color, the colors you chose were two shades of grey. I advised at the time the two shades of grey together may look just grey. Although I have attached a photo that shows the two tones of grey. After acknowledging the problems that you had with your finished product, you were informed that all of the things you found to be unsatisfactory could be fixed. All it would have taken was a grinder, some patch, color, sealer and a few hours of time. I would happily have come out and addressed these “problem areas” at no charge to you. You were clearly looking to take advantage of the situation and try to have an entire new patio poured at my expense. The pictures you posted were of a very small percentage of your patio, the other 98% of the patio looks great!I tried at lengths to make you happy. I offered to fix it and when you made it clear that would not resolve the problem, I offered a refund on the $1400 dollars you had paid me to pour it and you still declined. It’s clear that I was not going to be able to satisfy you. It is unfortunate that a resolution could not be reached, and I would still be happy to refund the money that I agreed to.Have a blessed day!
