Probably the cheapest motel in the Shoals area. Called to check on a room for the week and was quoted a price of $225. Okay, Great! I asked about making reservations and they said no and hung up. So I arrived around an hour later and went to check in, but was told no room for a week, only 1 night. I ended up paying $55 a night for 4 nights which came to $220. So I paid basically the same amount for 3 less days. The room was horrible. No tub, only a small stand up shower which I cannot do because of medical issues. The bed broke on the 3rd night. The bathroom kept flooding every night and I thought it was my friend flooding it and he thought it was me. Well, we both decided not to take a shower the 3rd night because we were exhausted and had spent so much time trying to fix the bed. The bathroom flooded that night too. I finally figured out that the toilet was leaking. You had to wear your shoes just to use the bathroom. I'm talking about a couple of inches of water all over the bathroom floor every night. Also when opening a new roll of toilet paper I found items hidden in the toilet paper roll that had been used for someone to shoot up, including left over drugs. It definitely was not a vacation stay. DO NOT take your children here. I had no choice but to stay there due to having to stay in the area and limited funds.
