Went on a pawn shop mission the other day all down 31 to find me a replacement wedding ring. Golden Pawn Pelham was my 2nd stop. I entered and was welcomed kindly. But, when I needed them to assist me with looking at some rings, the older white gentlemen seemed annoyed (like he had better things to do). He tapped the glass with his fingers as I told him which rings I wanted to try and just had an annoyed presence about him. I noticed he wasn’t wearing a mask, and I couldn’t breathe in mine so I asked him about it, he just shrugged and said he didn’t care in a rude way. I found several rings that I liked (they do have a lot of variety, best selections at any other pawn shop I went too) but I cut it short due to his attitude and decided to go elsewhere. Which is fine, I found an exact one at Peewees for $259 that I saw at Golden pawn for $399. (Exact ring). So glad I went elsewhere.

This one guy is very rude at the Homewood location! Couldn’t get his name but I will not be returning there ever!

Not your typical pawn shop. Cool down to earth people, very welcoming, made me a great deal more than once, good selection of stuff, and the store is clean and organized. Yes, you heard me right. A clean, well kept pawn shop.
