If i could give them zero stars I would. I never had a bad experience with them in Montgomery. I moved and tried to make an appointment in December. The first available appointment was in March. When March rolled around I needed to reschedule. Turns out they did not put me down for the date I was told. My appointment was rescheduled for April. I called the day before to make sure I didnt need to fill out any paperwork. Apparently nobody reached out to me to tell me Dr. Rossi doesnt do new patient appointments at the time I was scheduled for. I even received a confirmation text. So my appointment was canceled and rescheduled for June without my knowledge. This place is garbage. Their staff doesnt care or make any effort to care. I was able to call The Hawkins Group and get an actual appointment the same week. Maybe AL psychiatrist front desk staff needs to call them for advice on running a practice.

Alabama Psychiatry has gone to absolute garbage since their switch to telemedicine in 2020. The office staff shows zero regard for the well being of patients, it is impossible to schedule an emergency appointment in under 60 days, and necessary legal paperwork to maintain employment is ignored, lost, or never given to the doctors. Alabama Psychiatry's office staff are a barrier between you and your doctor, and the quality of medical care you receive is TERRIBLE now that they have switched to telemedicine - 15 minutes or less of time spent with each patient, and absolutely zero care for their overall well-being, side effects, or issues that have come up. Office management also takes zero responsibility for their behavior, taking a "let's wait and see" approach to critical, timely issues created by their own disorganization and lack of attention given to individual patients. "Notifying the office manager" is not resolving an issue - they have lost any compassion for patients and need to do better.

One of my children has been a patient of Anns for at least 2 years. We love this practice and their responsiveness when we have an issue. Ann has worked with us through many ups and downs to find what works best for our child and they are consistent and always caring. I highly recommend this practice.
