        My new backyard looks horrible now

        I waited two weeks for my sod to be delivered, after they said one week, and they never showed up and never contacted me. I called multiple times and never got an answer, so I finally left a voicemail telling them to not deliver it. I guess they only want to sell to people that are buying more than five pallets, or just don't care.

        New Market Sod Farm is fantastic. Friendly to work with and the fescue sod is exactly as they say, Top Quality. I have had more comments than I can count on how our new lawn looks and the quality of the sod. I will be ordering more in the fall to complete my project!

        Quality of their Bermuda sod is decent (probably a B+ or A-), but the 7 pallets we got that were advertised as 450 sqft each were much closer to 400-415 sqft. We had to scramble and order more to finish and still almost ran out. They claim 175 pieces per pallet but the pieces only measure 2.25 sqft per piece, so that math doesn't work out for me. I can give them a pass to some degree since the sod is decent quality, but if you use them just order 40% more than you need instead of the typical 15-20%
