        The worst, most convoluted government website I've ever seen. Their applications process is TERRIBLE! Absolutely no transparency or clarity and it doesn't even appear functional. It has the option to upload a resume, but doesn't actually have the final ability... when I emailed them to ask the problem, they said if I wanted to attach an actual resume, I had to MAIL THEM A HARDCOPY!? Instead, you fill out an application online, it auto-generates a pdf, you sign that, then email it to them (although this is not clear to anyone I know who has used this site). Warning, they don't accept unofficial transcripts either. Federal jobs do... pretty much everyone else does....but the state of Alabama does not. SAPD....guys, you need to tear this one down and start over... it's a MESS and an embarrassment!!
